Update
So, as an update to my post from this morning ...
I was not dialated or even remotely effaced this morning at my appointment.
Based on the baby's size, weight, amniotic fluid level, and the fact that I had that pretty large and in charge car accident a week and a hal*****he doctor/midwife team feels it is best to induce with medication Monday morning at 7am. I have worked pretty hard to get to this point in my head to prepare for an unmedicated birth, so I am pretty dissapointed. But, the risks of waiting any longer would be that she becomes distressed and I end up with a C-Section, which is what I really want to avoid. So, I suppose its better to have meds to induce labor than to end up with an emergency C-Section.
I bargained for this weekend to let my body have a couple more days to figure this thing out on its own since this is my first baby, I'm hoping that I dialate on my own, and since we know this can happen just hours after being checked, that's what I am holding out for - trying to stay positive! :-)
Anyway, thanks for your kind words and all the support!

Oh sweetie. I know you wanted to do it unmedicated, but I truly believe it's better for you and the baby to have this induction. They should still let you go without an epidural if you want. Make sure you write it up in a birth plan and give a copy to them when you go in on Monday. Try to get some rest. Eat well. Relax and try to mentally prepare yourself for the marathon you will start on Monday. We'll all be here cheering you on.
