Hi--

I'm in the process of getting an Arm's Reach Mini Co-Sleeper from a seller on my local Craigslist. (For less than 1/4 the original price!)  I feel it will be ideal for middle-of-the-night tending to the baby post c-section.

Anyone here have an Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper?

I'd love to hear your experiences with it, either good or bad.

Update: I picked up the co-sleeper for $50 today! The seller was a lovely woman who was very helpful too. The co-sleeper was only used for a few months and is in great condition--it came with some extras too! Yay, I love a good deal.

I had one with my daughter (5 years ago).  I LOVED it.  I never expected to be having another baby so I sold mine as soon as she was out of it.  I did move her into her own crib at 6 weeks so I don't have any experience with older babies but as a newborn, it was AWESOME.  I need to start hunting for a new one before this kiddo is born in February.

A good friend lent me hers, and I just got it out last night to wash the linens. She LOVED it and so we're excited to try it! Good luck!

We Co- sleep. But I used the snuggle nest with my first two. Will with this one as well. Good for the first 2 months or so.. Then I moved them into a crib in my room. Lola still sleep in my room. But has her own bed. She will be moving to her own room shortly.

Go online and search snuggle nest.

So you liked the Snuggle Nest? I can't decide between that and the Pack N Play bassinet. The reason I don't want to co-sleep is because I'm afraid one of us will roll on her... so DH saw the Snuggle Nest at BRU and put it on the registry. But my thinking is that the sides of the SN are so low, what's to stop you from rolling over that and onto the baby?

We used the Snuggle Nest for our first and will be using for our next.  You put the Snuggle Nest up between your pillows/heads.  We never had an issue of rolling over the Nest.  It's good for a couple of months and then we use the Pack N Play or a bassinet.  I thought I wanted an Arm's Reach but can't justify the cost compared to the Nest.  I've never talked to anyone that had the Arm's Reach so I can't give you any input there.

  Be Blessed!

I have one and I LOVE It.  Kaida was in it for 9 month.  once she was able to stand I put the bassinette part down to a pack n play type of thing and she slept in it.  it was so nice to have her right there but not in the bed.  we did cosleep with my son but dh deployed while my daughter was a baby and when he came home he didn't want her in our bed because his "daddy" reflex had faded a bit.  so this was perfect for us.

with this baby, we'll be using it again and for much longer.  baby will go from cosleeper to toddler bed!

here is K in the cosleeper when she was brand new and then when I found out she could stand on her knees. lol

I Love Ours!! It is so nice and convenient.  When she got a little bigger, but before she could sit up I put the side up and it was a great "bassinet" style bed.  It goes to a higher weight  than a regular bassinet, which was nice since my last 2 girls were on the larger size at an earlier age.  Congrats on your good deal! You will love it!
