Hi Shauna--

Many of my friends (who are also moms) had their membranes swept by their midwife/doc late in pregnancy and, although uncomfortable during the "sweeping," it was instrumental in bringing on dilation and subsequent labor activity.

Those prostaglandins from your DH can also help things along. Take it from a horny woman who is on a strict "NO SEX" order from her doc due to contractions last week!

I wish you luck and can't wait to hear all about Baby Drew!

Shauna

I went into full blown labor two days before my due date over a 2 hour period with no warnings at all. I had a stomach ache feeling and then all of a sudden water broke and contractions started 2 minutes apart. This all started at 6:45a got to the hospital at 8am (just started contracting) and had her at 9:15am, ALL NATURAL. Can you say owwww,BIG understatement. I requested to add you so you can view my fat pic.
