to put my hot laptop on my baby bump??

I've heard hot tubs are a no no so just wondering is my laptop would be enough to rise my babys temp and harm him/her in some way.

I don't put mine on my bump - but I put it on my legs and whenever the edge touches my bump - Drew goes crazy and kicks it (which, obviously he kicks the crap out of me!) At this point, he can sense different things. I would stay away from it personally but I don't know the magic rule or anything.

I used to put my lap top on my baby bump and Libby would go crazy and kick it.  She did the same to books and stuff too.  The only reason they say not to go in hot tubs is because it can raise your temperature and overheat you and the baby, which can cause issues.  However, most people know when something is too warm and uncomfortable for them and they remove themselves from the situation.  I was actually told that a hot tub when pregnant is okay, as long as it is not scolding hot and I do not let myself get over heated.  So, 2-3 minutes to relax and then I am done.  Of course, listen to what your doctor says.

I know you aren't supposed to put ho****er bottles directly on your bump. I would probably stay away from it just in case. Shari

I worried about it too.  I am a writer so had it on my belly for a few hours a day!  She is fine... would sometimes kick it off so I suspect she could feel the heat.
