White Noise Machine

M son is now 9 and he has to have the Air Purifier on. They start at about 30 bucks and go up from there. It is actually useful to him for his allergies. I myself sleep with my fan on all year round,lol!!

We've had a white noise machine in both my kids rooms and it helps so much to block the noise out for them!  I got mine at wal-mart for $14 each and they are over by the foot massagers and stuff like that.   They have lots of other noises on there and an adjustable volume dial and they have lasted over a year so far!   We actually have one in our room turned up just a bit, so we don't hear every single noise outside (we have noisy neighbor dogs that bark at night sometimes) and it's great!

Walmart trip tomorrow.. thank you so kindly. She is screaming her head off as I type this..LOL Poor baby.

Have you tried the cheepo box fans?  They don't cause as much wind and they seem to be louder.  All of my boys sleep with ones in their room, we have the tower fan but only because DH sweats so much he has to have it constantly.  Good luck

I am going to try anything I can. We had a box fan growing up and I do remember it being louder than the new tower ones. Thanks for the reply!

Granted Aethyn is only 9 1/2 months...I can't tell you if he sleeps better or longer!  But When he was in our room, we have a fan going almost all the time and we have a Sound Spa (We have one with a clock so it was more expensive) But you can get one for $20 at Wal-Mart...We use that at my parents house or when we travel.  It has rain and like 4-5 other sounds...we ALWAYS use the rain.  When Aethyn Moved into his own room we still have a fan going and we play music for him.  I think he does like it.  We started because our 2 dogs would wake him up all the time...so it kind of mutes them out!
