Leah makes an update! (Illustrated!!!YAY!)

Hey Gang...remember me?

I thought I would post a few pics of the squids. They are squishy and adorable and all that, need proof?
 

This is Silly Simon. He is 18 months old now. He counts to 10, and knows his ABC's. He even has his bedtime prayer memorized. He is smart as a whip. He also has the temper of a gila monster. Dont let the picture fool you, somtimes he is stubborn and relentless. I love him anyway though.


Ephram is 36 and has a mustache now. HA! Just kidding. Believe it or not he will be three in about a month. I can hardly make that sentence without cringing. He has been potty trained since April and really...has been accident free since then too! YES! He has the most vivid imagination, usually telling us he is "gonna go to work" which is "In outerspace fixing rockets and putting batteries in the robots." Whatever, I can dig it.

On the weekends he plays in a local band. He is kind of a rock star. Actually...he is totally a rock star...check out his sweet tattoo!!

He isnt always so charming either...
His face started to melt when I told him it was time to leave Chuck E. Cheese. Seriously...what is that! I think its a sign of Demon possession.

We did some gardening. We arent very good gardeners as it turns out. Squirrells ate our pumpkins, and there isnt enough sunlight to grow flowers. Bah!

I did grow these awesome Peonies though.

Kyle and I almost got eaten by a shark. But...it saw my double chin and ran away...I think it was worried I might contain trans fats or something.

Ephram loves to go to fountains and splash. He prefers it to the pool. Fun times!!

Cotton Candy!! Perfect fun summer food!

Simon got drunk on the cotton candy, his first ever. He loved the stuff so much.

We also had naked spaghetti night. To qualify you have to be less than 4 years old, and you still keep your pants on. Kyle always wishes we had a grown up version of this dinner...but I say who has time for all that ceremony? Anyway...You can see why we serve spaghetti to children in the buff...much easier to spray them down afterward!

I guess Ephram found a surprise in one of his. This pic is hilarious!

Ohh yeah, Ephram is a Burger King too.

So...thats it from us really. I am working in the NICU at the hospital. I LOVE it, and wish I was already done with school so I could get in there and be a nurse. All good things in time though. School starts up back in August and ... I think Im ready. HA!

Pics are cute. Just knowing they are pics from the Dayton area makes me homesick!

Which NICU do you work at? My friend's nephew was in one two weeks ago. He was born on the third and was moved on the 5th.

I work at Kettering Medical Center. I am a Nurses Aide right now, but going to school to become a nurse...just 18 months left on that goal.

What part of Dayton are you from?

Omigosh... they are so adorable.  They are both getting so big, too.  Jer says your husband looks like Lars from Metallica.  LOL  Just a little tidbit of info passed on from over my shoulder.

It has been WAY too long since we have had an pic update from you!!! I love it!!! The boys are super cute as always. I am so impressed by Simon. As you know Riley is a few days younger and doesn't say anything but mama and dada and goodie goodie GAH which we think means all is well. He does sing in a high pitched voice but only in one note.
