First Ultrasound
I had my first ultrasound at six weeks on Wednesday. Of the three embryos that were transferred, one appears to be a sticky bean. We could see the yolk and the flickering of the heart cells. It measured 2.6 mm (so tiny!) The RE said it implanted in a perfect spot. He'll see me again in two weeks to make sure everything is okay and that they didn't miss one (he didn't think so).
The last time they transferred three, all three implanted but we lost Baby A at 8 weeks and knew we would likely lose Baby B--which we did by ten weeks. But we have our beautiful miracle, Elijah ("Baby C")! I'm trying to stay very positive and saying lots of prayers for this baby, too.
Oh, and Elijah, who turned 11 months on Wednesday is walking away--hilarious to watch. Reminds me of a bowlegged baby chimp who ate too much fermented fruit :-). He's also using more signs (eat, drink, milk, more, all done, sleep, bath, hat, fan, light) and some words. Can't believe it's almost been a year! I'll post photos if I ever figure out how.

Oh congratulations!!!!! I know all too well the worry and angst of the first trimester, but I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts and prayers for a sticky LO.
