I went in last week to see the OB department and all they did was fill out my chart and order all of my labs.  So yesterday I went and saw the OB.  I honestly had myself so on nerve because this pregnancy has been so different than my others that something had happened to the baby.  So the OB put in the ultrasound machine and once the baby popped up it had the most perfect little heartbeat at 176.  I still kind of freaked a little because the baby was just laying there all curled up.  With all of my boys they were doing back flips you couldn't even measure them.  The Dr. then measures the baby and it came back at 7w1d which is way off.  I had a positive test before fathers day and my last cycle was 5/14, she wiggled it around and finally the baby uncurled enough that you could get a good measurement on it, 8w5d, so I felt much better.  All in all it was a good visit but I did find out I have cystic fibrosis gene and that Kris needs to be tested.  I wasn't tested with the other boys because there father was ruled out as a carrier and with Noah Kris was deployed by the time my test would have come back and I would have just worried for nothing.

I keep getting my self psyched up that it could be a girl I just have too keep talking my self down.  Only 7-8 weeks and I will know, boy is that going to be hard.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I have been MIA and I have been missing so much news on everyone.   I am so glad you had a great visit and that the baby is doing great.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that everything continues to go smoothly during the pregnancy.

Take care and enjoy your little miracle.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I am glad things are going well for you! I can feel you on the differences in pg though. This baby is dancing on my hoo ha or punching my ribs or squirling around all the time. Emma had calm movements...more like rolling with a rare kick or punch. I will send you some pink vibes. This one for me is a boy though and had high hb. Do you remember early hb's with your boys?? Keep us posted okay. Shari

Congrats!!  Baby sounds good!!  Mine didn't kick around much at their early ultrasounds but they sure are now.

Good luck and hope you get the answers you need with the BD's blood test!
