Dr Appt tomorrow
My mom and I have the same OB - she had an appointment today and tattled on me to my Dr. about my PPD. My Doc told my mom to tell me that I was being silly -she would never think poorly of me and to get my butt into see her. BUSTED!
So I have an appointment tomorrow to see her.
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive for me during this time - I really love you ladies. I hope that she can help me - I want to feel like myself again. I want to like myself again, I want to enjoy my new miracle and feel like I am a good mother. I deserve that.

Dawn,
Your mom RULES! I'm glad you're going to see your OB tomorrow and I truly hope you find some relief. I never did anything about the PPD when I had my son and it was miserable. It's taken some med tweaking and patience this time around, but I can now tell you that I really, really enjoy my baby and life is so much better and even the lack of sleep and pudge on my body is more tolerable now that I have "perspective".
I'm here for you!

I am right there with you. I have a rx for meds, now I am just trying to decide if I should keep breastfeeding and hold off on the meds, stop breastfeeding and start meds or start meds and keep breastfeeding?? I am worried about the meds even though the nurse seems to think they are ok.
Let us know how your appt goes, you deserve to feel like yourself again.

I'm glad your mom tattled on you...you deserve it! You deserve to feel like yourself, like yourself in general, and enjoy your little miracle...because you are a good mother...and you deserve to know that too. Now get your patootie in there before your mom comes and drags you in.
