so i am having a bunch of complications and keep going in almost every week for ultrasound...this will be my 3rd child...already have 2 boys. i said to the ultrasound lady (who has been there thru each pregnancy) is there anyway you could see what the gender is? she said its usually too early...but she said she could see a bump or spot that wouldnt be there id=f it was a girl...she did say dont hold her to it...its still a 50/50...but was pretty sure...i am just shocked cause i am about 11 weeks....i feel blessed either way...boy or girl...just curious if anyone else found out the gender so early?

you have to be at least 12 weeks for the nub theory.  the nub is there no matter what sex.  its the way it leans or something that matters.

if you have a shot of the u/s you can post it at   www.ingender.com  and the gals there will tell you if they see anything.  some of thier guesses have been pretty good.

at least 12 weeks though from what I've read on ingender.com

I had an u/s at 12.5 weeks and the tech was pretty sure it was a boy.  At my 19 week detailed scan, even I could tell she was wrong.  Girl #3 for me!!

Something about the way the little "bump" points...they said they felt it would be a girl, but she couldnt promise...well- girl was right. Good luck.  I have had so many u/s each pregnancy, just to check on things it's crazy.  I go back for the 4th time to check spine and 1 chamber of the heart. It can be very stressful.  Good luck.

I was told at 18 weeks that there were no boy parts - after buying an outfit and an adorable onesie - at 19 weeks - there were boy parts. I wouldn't get your hopes up. If it wasn't for the fact that my baby was breach and when he took the U/S you could CLEARLY see two legs and an upside down heart - I wouldn't have believed it was a boy. The only way to know for sure is when you're holding them in your arms.

My mom went 9 months thinking I was a boy because that's what they told her - when I popped out a girl - my dad said "at least she has blue eyes to match the blue clothing." And then my eyes turned green. But I did wear blue for the first year of my life :-)

Too early. Babies look unisex at that stage. I was told a girl, but ANDREW is definitely a boy. Follow the nub theory.
