Back Labor *Updated*

Has anyone had back labor? My lower back is aching terrible I can barely walk, I also have a bit of pressure down there but don't feel contractions, although with my first I didn't feel contractions at all until I was 10cm dilated and time to push. I also feel VERY tired and kind of nauseous. I can't even deal with my 15 month old or even pick her up. Any advice? I just have "strange" feeling. And she is VERY active today.

**Guess I just had a backache, because it is gone. The only thing is I am freaking exhausted. I can't barely keep my eyes open, I want to stay in bed all day, and I feel like a terrible mother. Oh lord, PPD is going to hit me I just know it.**

I've have no personal experience but getting a hunch that you are going to get a lot of - go to L&D to get checked answers...

I had back labor - it freaking SUCKED!!!!!!!!! They couldn't even pick up my contractions on the monitor on my stomach and almost sent me home - until they checked me again and I had dilated 3 cm in a hour!

It wasn't a constant backache though - it would come in waves like contractions do - not to say that what you are experiencing isn't back labor. It could be different for someone else. I think you should go L&D - after preterm and false labor - when I had that *strange* feeling I knew that it was real!

I just want to crawl under a rock and sleep for eternity. I feel so depressed the past few days. Thanks for replying I guess I was just hoping to be in labor.
