Hello, I havent had wls yet but i hope to before the end of the year. I have been losing weight on my own and wanted to see if anyone knew the chances of getting preggo while losing weight on your own. Thanks

It's gotta be high...since losing weight - even just 5-10% of your body weight can reverse some of the infertility that many women have.  I was only 4 months post op when I got pregnant...and we tried for 8+ years without much luck!

I would think that losing weight is losing, and it does help many with infertility. If you can lose the weight and have the will power on your own stick to it, GO FOR IT. I will be 5 years PO in Sept and was considering a revision. I have since changed my mind because if I cant work the first surgery then its in my mind and that's where I need to work. But good luck with losing, just cutting out soda, fried food and junk food will get you moving - now I need to follow my own advice!
