Really Confused, need help from moms that have miscarried...

I had off and on spotting with my healthy 4 year old son for 4 weeks.  from 6-10 weeks.  it ranged from heavy spotting a few times a day to nothing for a day or two.  pink to brown, to bright red...all ranges of color.  again...he's fine.

my "chemical pregnancy", a miscarriage by 5 weeks, I had no  spotting.  went straight into heavy period bleeding.

I have gone through the same thing.  If it is after a BM then it could just be cervical bleeding from straining.  If you are having intercourse stop until you have gone 24 hours without blood (so my Dr. said).  I am now 13 1/2 weeks and haven't seen any bleeding since about 2 weeks ago.  If you are worried call your Dr. as stress is bad for the baby.  I am sure you are fine just like me but always nice to know for sure with a Dr. visit.

With my mc I spotted the most microscopic spot of light pink.  I was a serious TP checker.  I went in and the baby had no heartbeat.  I never had any more spotting, just some tissue-like stuff.  No blood, nothing.  Had to have a D/C.
With Kellen I spotten from 6-12 weeks straight.  It only happened when I poo'd but I was told it was a subchorionic bleed.  It's like a little tear or clot behind the placenta.  They don't look for it when you have an u/s but they do if you're spotting.  At 12 weeks I had blood and clots come out and freaked.  Had an ultrasound and they said the clot was gone and baby was fine...the clot just broke down.

I never spotted or bled again after that.  With this twin pregnancy, I've not spotted once since implantation.

I had the first sign of spotting the same day as my U/S with the high risk doc, confirming the miscarriage.  I had heartbeat at 6 weeks, but development stopped soon after.  The spotting wasn't until 10 weeks.

You need to call.  I've been through it 3 times, each time was different.

w/all four of my mc, I had spotting, then brown discharge...then nothing...then spotting...discharge...nothing...then the flood gates opened.  The timing of the 'nothing' was only a few hours though...not overnight.

Talk to your dr...see if they'll test you again just to make sure things are going OK, just for your own peace of mind.

It could also be a cervical polyp...I've had two of them w/two of my miscarriages...and if it's a polyp, they are not thought to have anything to do w/miscarriage.
