I finally got a hold of the lab test that showed according the the Dr "iron a little low".  I would like to understand what all these things mean and where they should be but the internet is just frustrating.  Anyone that can help- I would appriciate it.  My ferritin said low, Folate high, Fe Sat Low.  Some other things on the CBS came back with high or low next to them too.  Thanks for any help.  (I will probably just forward it to my WLS Dr as well, for advise)...but sometime the support of those who have gone through it, or know is just easier then the medical run around.  Thanks again.

Edit to add numbers:
(Heme/Onc)
Ferritin: 8.4 L
B12: 774
Folate: 20.4 H
FE Sat: 15 L
Iron: 67
Total IBC: 454

FE Sat, normal range is 20-55...

Your numbers are low but not rock bottom. They're just a little lower than mine were.
