For those with weight gain concerns

 Just wanted to report that, 4 days after Rowan's birth, I weighed myself and found that I only weigh 4 lbs more than before I got pregnant!

At the end, I was up around 25 lbs (the last 5 having showed up very rapidly, so I suspect they were fluid weight). 

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how things turned out with my weight. Now I just need to get back to getting the scale going in the other direction, which may be a bit hard since I can't go to the gym yet and it's too hot out here to do anything easy like walking.

Oh thank you for sharing that. i have been really concerned about the weight. daily I wonder if I will every be back to where I was. Thanks again for that. I'm glad you are doing well. P&Pt's.

Wow, you have done great!  I, on the other hand have not done so well.  I gained 38 lbs and have only lost 20 lbs of it.  I need a fill and need to get back on track but having a hard time getting motivated.  It is so hot here too, we went for a walk tonight at 7:30 and it was still roasting out.

I am at 12 weeks and haven't gained an ounce yet so I'm a bit nervous about that. How much did Rowan  weigh at birth? I am only 1 year out and didn't expect to get pregnant this early out but  that was my fault for not taking appropriate prevention steps....after 5 years of infertility I just didn't take it seriously that it could happen. So I am far more worried about gaining enough. I am currently at goal and have been for a few months. Just not sure... Fortunately not much nausea as long as I eat often enough.

 He was 8lb, 4oz. I know there have been others on this board who have gained little to nothing, so as long as baby seems to be growing fine, things should be ok!

Noooo JK! That is great. I am still working on getting mine off but it's getting there. Just takes time and effort. I am happy to hear that you only have 4 extra pounds on you from pre-preggo weight.

You totally made my day. I'm feeling like a hippo these days and to know that there is a possibility that it may come off just as easy as it went on is such a great feeling. Congrats on doing so well.

And I agree with Jodi - pics would be GREAT!

Thanks for posting this!! I haven't gained any weight yet (actually lost around 10 pounds) but my eating has changed now that I am in the 2nd trimester so I know it will eventually start going the other way...nice to know it can come off!
