Monday Weigh In

Ok, so I am not grinning like the smily in the title. LOL. But hey! I didn't gain.

I am down 1 more pound this week. I was hoping for more but I am retaining fluid like crazy. My socks are cutting into my ankles. AF came yesterday. So I'll take that pound considering how I feel!

I want to be hard on myself about not losing more, but try to remember I am only 13 lbs from my goal weight so it's not going to come off as easy. So I am trying to remember that ANY loss is good. I won't be at goal by birthday but my mini goal is 4 more pounds till then. So we will see!

So Jennifer and other "weigh in" ladies...............what's the verdict?

A pound is a pound, girl!  If you want, I can post the pound of butter picture so you can visualize it.  Remember, the less you have to lose, the slower it comes off.

I'm still the same - no bigger, no smaller.  My dr warned me that the Mirena might cause a bit of weight gain, but I can only use that excuse for so long.

Hope everyone had a great week and can't wait for the results!

I wasn't going to weigh until 11 but I caved. Last week's weight was 190.5 and todays weight 188.7. Not quite 2 pounds but I WILL TAKE IT!!! I think I am firmly in the 80's with that number. I got a bit nervous last night because it has been about 4 days since I have gone to the bathroom. I had a few bad fiber days but I am back on the fiber wagon and should go soon!



A pound is great when you are so close to goal. One of the blogs I am following is a woman who lost 130 pounds in a year and she is really struggling for the last 15 pounds. It sucks to have to work harder because you weigh less so you burn less.



So my total weight loss now is 51.5 pounds since 2/09/09.

Edited because I put that I was 200.5 last week and I was 190.5. See, I still didn't believe that weigh in all these weeks later!

I fixed it! I was 190.5 last week. Thanks for catching that. I strive to maintain accuracy LOL.

You are doing fantastic, you are such an inspiration! Like I posted I will be joining you ladies in a few weeks. Just a question for you, did you ever do Weigh****chers? I feel like thats such a great program and worked great for me last year. I was wondering if counting calories is easier or more accurate - disregard if you haven't done WW.

I did WW about 20 years ago. It goes against my cheapness to pay to lose weight. I really do like what I am doing. I feel like I am eating enough and that I am not telling myself no all the time. I don't feel the stress and frustration that I had previously on diets. The 45 minute a day 3.25 mile walk that I do burns over 450 calories so that gives me an added security to take a bite of this or that if I want.

If WW works for you then I would do it again. I just can't see forking over money for a 30 minute meeting. I would rather go to tops for $2. My niece did WW online and I think it was $20 a month. She lost on it and loved it.
