On another note....(long)
I had a break down today.
For starters I have not had a good night sleep since I turned 5 1/2 weeks... I started thinking about how I will be 6 months in another week and how things are just going to get worst.
I dont remember being in this much discomfort with my other 2 pregnancy's, but then again im no longer in my 20's nor was I pregnant with twins.
It seems like I cant get in any position and if I lay on my right baby "A" starts to move and I jump cause I feel like I might be killing the poor child and same thing happens when I lay on my left with baby "B".
I always had a bad case of asthma and it seems that when I lay flat on my back I wake up wheezing alot worst. I have gone from Albuterol and Flovent to Albuterol and Advair I did have to stop taking the Advair b/c it was causing terrible headaches.
Ok today my mother inlaw was talking about the plans for our baby shower in Sept.
The list was made and the colors where picked and I was happy until I was asked to go over the list to see if I left anyone out.
I started to cry and I just couldnt hold my emotions...talk about HORMONAL!
The reason I started to cry is because I have a few friends coming and NO family members
I have no one here in NYC and only know a half sister on my fathers side that lives in L.A. and she cant make it.
Going down the list and seing all the names of my BF's family just got me down I guess, I just wished for a moment I had some family member there specially my mother.
One last and final thing...Terrible tooth pain again!!!
Whats going on?
OMG I cant take it losing another tooth...lol... I told my BF he was going to leave me b/c im going toothless...my insurance sucks it wont cover root canals so all they want to do is jank a tooth out UGH, I told him even if we have to go half on the bill im not allowing them to take another tooth out.
Well back to the dentist on Wed. for me YAY!
I hope things get better soon!

I hope the hormones give you a break and let you get some rest soon.
Regarding positions for sleeping...I have NO experience re being pg w/twins...but if it's uncomfortable laying in either side or flat on your back...is there any chance of getting a recliner so you can at least lay back but not all the way flat? Maybe that'd help? I know it'd be a chunk of money...and if you're living in NY, you may have a hard time finding space in your apartment, since most apartments there tend to be on the small side...but if you can swing it, it might help...and you could then use it for some of the long nights up w/the babies when they get here.
Regarding your teeth...talk to your dr about the problems w/them. Is it possible some sort of vitaminedeficiency is causing the problems during the pregnancy? Ask if there are any extra preventative measures you can take to stop the problems from happening.
Regarding the root canal...I don't know what information the pp sent you...and hopefully it works for you financially...but if not, as an alternative, I can tell you what I did w/a tooth that I had a root canal on years ago there in NY. I had the root canal done, and the dr put a white temporary filling in it...and I left that in for a year or so until I went to Egypt to visit my DH's family and I had a crown made there. They didn't get it finished before I left, so the dr mailed it to me and I took it to the dentist there in Brooklyn to have it 'installed.' I also had a 2nd root canal done in Egypt on a front tooth (he was replacing a white filling and accidentally went too deep and went into the root and had to do the root canal)...and that one he didn't have time to do the crown mold...so he put a temporary white filling in it, which I left there for probably 10 years. Just last year, I had the dentist here in Indonesia drill out the white filling and replace it with a new white filling.
I'm not suggesting you go galavanting the world to have dental work done...I'm suggesting if there's enough of the real tooth left...have them do the root canal, then fill it in w/a white filling. I've done it for years and years and have had no problems with it. Then later down the road, when you have the money, you can have the crown made.

Mom to Khaled
When it rains, it pours....... These hormones are horrible. I have been snapping constantly at my 9 yr old son, for his typical boy things.....but this pregnancy and this 104 Texas heat do not help me out at all. Hopefully you can get some much needed rest.
Have you tried calling around and maybe find a Dentistry school. They do things alot cheaper, and maybe a root canal will work out.
Good Luck to you!
