Had a Baby Yesterday
Meet my son, Rowan!
My water broke Thursday, around 11:45am, while I was at WORK! one of my coworkers drove me to the doctor's office and my husband met us there. I wasn't having any contractions, so I was admitted and they started pitocin. It took a looong time for me to dilate, and I couldn't get past 1cm until my OB manuaully broke up some scar tissue on my cervix (from a cryo procedure I had 10 yrs ago). Thank God for the epidural, or that would have been really horrible. Once he did that, things moved along a bit faster and I was finally fully dilated around 1am Friday. I had about 45 minutes of pushing and he arrived at 2:23am, 8lb 4oz, 21 inches long!
This is right after they cleaned him up!
His bili started getting high today, so he's on phototherapy, but we night be able to go home tomorrow morning!

Awwww so sweet and what a pretty baby boy! Welcome to the world baby Rowan! I see a blondie when he gets hair! I was toe headed as a child......heck now I dye my hair brown! WTH? LOL
