Pulse in the stomach.........

Anyone else feeling this?? It gets so strong, that you can see my stomach going up and down. Anyone know whats causing this??

Could it be the babies breathing or moving?  When I was pregnant with Matthew you could watch my stomach roll as he moved.  It looked like a monster was going to burst out any minute.

Usually when I experienced this it was the baby's hiccups.  Especially if it is fairly regular.  Hubby laughed at me (with the last pregnancy) because I would be reading and my book would bob up and down in a regular beat.  Darn alien babies taking over our bodies!!! 

OMG... I totally had that too when I was pregnant with my son. He ALWAYS had the hiccups. That was basically the only time I could be sure someone could "feel the baby"... LOL

So I say HICCUPS!!!   LOL  It does seem like a pulse... but pretty regular though....

Yep, people get pulses in their stomach... Usually harmless... There are times it can be bad (aortic aneurism) but it's pretty rare (tho i was sent to the ER a few months back to rule it out)

When I get this the baby has hiccups, I think its cute. But it brings back memories of my first after she was born she had severe reflux, dont know if it was related to the hiccups but now this one gets them I hope she dont have the same problem.

It can also have to do with the placement of the placenta. I see my pulse all the time after walking a few miles or even just at the end of the day when I have been on my feet. Hiccoughs are very different than the pulse for me.

First off, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I have an anterior placenta, which means it is on the front of my uterus...and I and feel and sometimes see it pulsing. I know it is pulsing (and not hiccups, kicks, or other fetal movement) because the pulsing is at the same rate as my actual pulse. I often put one hand on my stomach and use the other hand to check the pulse in my neck...they're exactly the same.

I've only felt fetal movement once....it was one day earlier this week. They were four magical picks right near my belly button. Very different from the pulsing I experiene regularly.

I have the same thing, my placenta is in the front. And your right I did check my pulse on my neck and it was the same.  So it's the placenta???? I know that it's not the babys moving or the hiccups. I have a appt next week and plan on asking about it then.

That sucks! I had an anterior placenta with my dd and was sooooo hoping for a 'normal' one this time! I very rarely felt my dd move and it was a scary pregnancy to say the least. I have my first u/s and appt. Thurs. I pray that it's not anterior again :(
