I'm having a pitty party for myself right now. I worked so hard to lose weight, now I'm 17 weeks pregnant, have gained 18 pounds(168), my eating is out of control. My ass, stomach and boobs are getting bigger and I have no control over it. I am nearly depressed about this. My size 8 pants have turned into size 12 pants...I've no control. I have even gone as far as sneak eating lately. My single protien bars have turned into 2, my special k cereal bars have turned into 2 at a time. I eat so much my stomach hurts everyday...I don't stop when I'm filling up.

*shaking head in disgust*

Thanks for reading...

Someone else had posted something a week or two ago about a similar problem...and made a statement that I liked and would apply to you.

Today is the frist day of the rest of your pregnancy.

Take advantage of today being the first day and get back on track to eating correctly.  Keep yourself busy so you're out of the kitchen...whether it's surfing the net, reading a book, walking, working, whatever.  Stick notes up on the fridge reminding yourself of this...and ask yourself when you're getting ready to eat why you're eating it...because you're hungry? bored? depressed? nervous? tired?  At least that'll put it in your head why you're eating and give a little nudge of a reminder to only eat when you need to.

Good luck...and don't beat yourself up...just try to get back in control...don't let the food control you.

Well, congrats on your pregnancy - first!  Now, you can start over tomorrow with eating right. I know it's hard and I'm struggling myself.  With twins, I can't stop eating either.  I don't stop when I'm filling up either.  It's so hard, I know - but we can do this!  We gotta make better choices!  Maybe drink a bottle of water when you start to grab some food instead?  Maybe you're thristy...it's helped me a little!

Good luck to you!
