Do they normally do an ultrasound at the first appt

Mine did an ultra sound on the first visit to make sure how far along I was. I also have another one when Im 18-20 weeks, right now I will be 9 weeks on Sunday

My OB office does one at your first visit!

Thanks everyone for the responses.  It helps alot with what I should do about telling our daughter.  Ill let everyone know when i do and how it goes haha,.

It depends.  I had Noah at Darnall and yes at the 10wk apt they did do an ultrasound to date the baby.  When I went into do my paper work with the nurse at 8 weeks she just checked for the heartbeat.  If your delivering at metroplex or Scott and white then I have no idea.  Either way good luck!
