Dr confirmed my suspicions.
Holly, I'm so sorry and I pray you find a doctor that can figure out what the real problem is so by next year you will have your baby in your arms. (((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))

I had to take a little bit to reply. My heart is just breaking for you. It has to be the most frustrating thing ever. I will tell you that if I hadn't gone to a different doctor a few years ago, I wouldn't be alive today. I just would not stand for a doc NOT listening to me. Have they tested your progesterone levels? I was just wondering because of the time frame of your losses. There is a guy here in Indianapolis who is a nationally known fertility specialist. He's an expert in luteal phase defect, PCOS, and reproductive Endocrinology. I know you don't have so many problems getting pregnant, but he's really good about figuring out the root issue. His name is Dr. Jarrett. I'll look up his site and post it on your other post.
So many Hugs,
Angie

Thanks Angie.
I did mention to the dr yesterday re the tests I read on here that everyone has...the various hormonal tests, etc. I've never had any of them done...only blood tests to check for blood clotting, lupus, etc. His response (said rather condescendingly) was that they normally only test those things when someone's having trouble GETTING pregnant...not staying that way...and that of course he could test them if it would make me feel better (his words), but that it really wouldn't contribute any useful information to my 'diagnosis.' He agreed w/the other dr I'm seeing that if the endometrium isn't developing thick enough, then the estrogen/progesterone they've put me on is the appropriate treatment for that...and no need to actually test anything. I will mention that when I talk to a dr in the U.S. and see what they say about it....because I don't think the hormones are only to get pregnant or to build the endometrium...but to maintain the pregnancy too...and it may not be just progesterone to maintain it.
I'll keep an eye out for the info re Dr. Jarrett.

Thanks Samara. Hopefully I'll get some answers soon. God knows if I were told 'this is the problem, there's nothing we can do about it...go home & enjoy your son at home,' I could accept that...but when they keep telling me it's possible, go ahead and try again...and again and again...because they can't find the problem or aren't looking beyond the first answers that pop up...that's what frustrates me more than anything.
