Dr confirmed my suspicions.
I can say that I had my regular OBGYN tell me to go forth and make babies (when I was overweight) and then when it didn't happen went to the recommened fertility clinic and after lots of questions, 2 exams (intern / student) and the specialist...he looked at me and told me that I too dangerous to help have a baby and that I needed to drop some significant weight. It wasn't that he couldn't help me, it was that he wouldn't. (I was 220, the lighest I had been in 5 years). I was so hurt and heartbroken...but boy was I pissed too. He could have looked at my records, looked at me clothed and told me that...Ugh. Some Dr's are clueless.
I went to a great clinic after WLS and they were wonderful to me...very encouraging, willing to run tests, etc. They do a lot of papers and education. Dr Richard Legro. They requested a picture of Sophie so they could see her..I laughed and said something like- I bet you get a million of those..but the Dr smiled and said we love every single one of those. That is when I knew the clinic really liked what they did it wasn't just another place and another $ to them. Though they have their good and bad points just like everywhere.
Hugs, and I am so sorry.

So sorry this is happening again. As for the repeated miscarriages at 6 weeks. If you aren't already on it, read up on metformin helping repeated early loss. It is a drug for insulin resistance, but they are starting to prescribe it for those that aren't IR or PCOS because it helps with that. There is a clinic in NY that automatically just prescribes it now after 3 losses. It won't harm you if you don't need it.
It is a drug mainly for IR or PCOS. They are finding that insulin resistance may be an arbitrary number now. 10 or less may fine for one person, but another person requires your body to be at 7 or less, for example. And if your body isn't using insulin efficiently it will lead to poor quality eggs.
At any rate, read up -- it may be a possible next step for you if you haven't gone down that path.

Will I be able to find the NY clinic online? Or can you tell me what it is so I can talk to them too?
I hope one day you come out of hiding for good...I miss you being around.

I wish I knew what to say to you. I am sorry you have had m/c's and you don't have one single answer that makes any sense. Doctor's are so quick to blame SOMETHING: our age, weight, etc. instead of finding the real answer.
Good luck to you, and YOU deserve the hug.

Good luck in finding a doctor that is really going to listen to you and help you figure out a solution to your problem.
