Bad Cold
My Ob suggests taking Tylenol cold/sinus. I took both the day and night time kind quite a bit during my first pregnancy. Hannah was born healthy, so it must have been OK to take lol.
I never looked it up on safefetus so I'm not for sure what category it falls under.
I hope you feel better soon! It's so hard being pregnant and sick!

The medicine in Tylenol Cold / Sinus meds is the same class as Sudafed and works half as well. I'd take the Sudafed.
I'm also TOTALLY against combo meds, though -- too many people not realizing they have tylenol in them and oding on acetominophen, why they may get pulled.
So again, I'd do the real sudafed. Pull it from behind the counter.

My OB said to avoid the Sudafed if I could, because in some people it causes jitters, heart palpitations and other side affects (like sleeplessness), he said to try the Tylenol Cold and SInus first, and if it worked for me to stick with it. He said if it didn't help or I was still having problems with being stuffy to switch to the Sudafed. I took the day and night formula of the Tylenol and they worked well enough that I never felt the need to switch, and both where OKed by doc and pharmacist. Also, if you are on other meds, you can go to the pharmacy counter and tell them what you are taking (even if its over the counter) and they can tell you if any of the medications will interact with one another, or if you are doubling up on anything that could be dangerous.
