I'm going there now. I really like using thedailyplate.com which was recommended to me from the ladies here. I had been using fitday and sparkpeople but I like the format and ease of use from thedailyplate much better.

The device I wear that tells me actual caloric burn, steps, etc. has a food journal aspect to it.  I could do it twice, but I'm too effin lazy to do that.

That's great, Jennifer!  I am so glad it wasn't a fluke!  I had a similar thing happen last week, as well.  I weighed again like on Wednesday of last week, and I was actually down about 3.5 - 4 pounds more than Monday.  It actually stayed that way for the rest of the week (so it was like 152.something).  But... then I picked Joe up and was not very good, basically for the entire weekend, and I gained.  However, I am still happy with my weight today - 154.0, which is a loss of 2.4 pounds from last Monday.  I just have to stay on track now.  So, technically I met my goal and then some.  I think my main goal for the next 3 weeks will be to maintain or keep the gain (if any) to 5 pounds or less (stay in the 150s).  I'll see how it goes.  But after Joe leaves again, I will get back to what I was doing before and shoot for my next goal of 150.

Have another great week, everyone!!

Congratulations!!! I am so happy that you met your goal. I bet you are having a great time with Joe and I bet he was shocked to see Charlotte grew so much. Have a great visit!

Thanks!  It has been great so far.  We had a great 4th of July over at my parents', and we all went swimming in the condo pool yesterday.  Charlotte is definitely a water baby.  We took her out of her floaty thing to see what she would do, and she did not want to go back in it - she was furious!

He was shocked (and a bit sad, I think) to see how much of a big girl she has become.  She got her first haircut (from Daddy... just a quick bangs trim), and he was so proud.

Today Joe and I are going to get our anniversary gift (2nd anniversary is tomorrow); we are getting matching tattoos for Charlotte.  I'm excited.

Is this what you use?

I have the original ipod nano and was thinking this would be cool to have.  Libby and I love to take walks, even though it is 110 out!!!  I have the pedometer for the stroller but Russ has not yet put it on and the battery is dead, so I have to get a new one.  Plus, I don't always have the same stroller since we have a few different ones.  Do I need to spend the $10 and get the little pouch too??

Yes that is what I have. I don't know about the pouch because I bought the Nike shoes with the built in sensor. I bought them used on eBay EWWWW but I really wanted the right shoes. Any Nike with the + symbol on them have a compartment under the removable foot thingy. What are those things called? My mind is blank....inserts?

If you don't have the shoes, you need to buy the pouch. I think you will love it!!!

Cool, I will have to check my NIkes.  I just bought a pair a few weeks ago on clearance at Kohls for $19, I couldn't pass them  up even though I am normally an adidas or asics girl.  So, that package comes with the sensor that I just attach to my shoe and then I am good to go (obviously after setting it up)?

Go check your shoe and see if there is already a sensor under the insert? You will get another one with your kit but my shoes also had one. On the tongue of the shoe there should be a plus sign if it has the compartment.

Once it is in your shoe, it syncs with your ipod and that is all there is too it. The spot where you charge your iPod is where you attach it and it is really small. The shoe sensor isn't attached to the ipod, it is just synced to it.
