What is a day of food like for you other post op mommys?
Right now with my morning sickness I eat whatever I think I can keep down.
B - 1 waffle w/ syrup
S - a few salt and vinegar potato chips and a handful of cheez its
S- 2 white chocolate macadima nut cookies
L- 1 smoked pork chop, serving of mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn
D- 1/2 small container of Hannah's left over chicken and stars and more cheez its
I got rid of the cookies, so they won't tempt me anymore (well unless I go back to my parents house lol).
I sure need more protein and less carbs!

Almost every morning I have the same thing!
B - 1 real egg with eggbeaters mixed together...scrambled with mushrooms and shredded cheddar.
S - Venti iced DECAF SKINNY latte. No caf/sugar/fat.
L - chili with cheese or baked fishsticks/nuggets with the kids or some asian dish (I'm half Korean) with barely any rice. Mostly spicy meat or tofu soup. Sometimes I'll eat a kid sized subway turkey sandwich. Or, I get both kids a chicken nugget Mightly Kids meal from McD's and eat 4 nuggets and small fries...OH, and I recently found out that Arby's beef and cheddar sandwiches are really low in cals and fat! So I eat one like 2x a week! (usually no fries) LOL!
S - crackers/cheese or some kind of junk. Cookie, fruit, string cheese...this could be anything...I'm never good at snack time.
D - Costco's marinated salmon, or a chicken/broccoli/cheese bake (low fat!) with egg noodles, or spaghetti with little noodles and more meat sauce, or meat lasagna with low fat ricotta added, or taco salad, or SUPER THIN crust hawaiian pizza. It's low fat and lower in carbs!!
S - a PB and low sugar jelly sandwich on whole grain bread. Almost EVERY NIGHT.
I drink bottled water, caffeine free diet coke, and crystal lite. Sometimes I get a sugar free lemonaide at Arby's or Auntie Ann's.
I honestly never get anything "regularly" sweetened. Like sodas, juice, syrup, jam, peanut butter, yogurt, popcicles, ice cream, etc...but I do sometimes eat a cookie or cupcake (no frosting) when I'm itching for it. Or I eat a tiny snickers or other candy bar...the TINY kind. I had diabetes before my surgery and I'm scared to death of it coming back. They already said it seems to be sneaking its way back to me - slowly.
Sorry this went on forever! I am a food addict. I tend to eat a lot! My current craving is hawaiian pizza from Papa Murphy's with the delite crust. That, or teriyaki!! I can ALWAYS eat asian (Korean BBQ especially) prepaired meats!
