Metallic taste in mouth?

I tested today (9DPO) and it was neg.  I know it's pretty early to be testing.  Actually I've been feeling like we have not conceived this month, until today.   I got on the scale this morning and I gained 6lbs (pregnancy water retention???)  There is no way I gained 6lbs in 7 days (when I last weighed myself).  I have been excessively tired for the passed two days, but I still didn't want to attribute that to pregnancy.  My breasts stopped hurting at about 5DPO, but they started feeling tingly and itchy today. Then tonight while eating dinner I got a disgusting metallic taste in my mouth.  I thought it was maybe what I was eating, but I ate the same thing last week with no such problems.  I thought it would go away if I ate something else.  It didn't.  Then I brushed my teeth, still nothing.  I am expecting AF on Sunday.  I guess only time will tell, but did any of you have a metallic taste in your mouth during your pregnancy?

Hi there!
Yep, I had that. I felt like I had penny-flavored gum in my mouth all day! It is a hormonal thing and mine went away in the second trimester. I'll be interested to se what your nexts tests say!

Metalic taste in your mouth is usually a tell tale sign of Ketosis going on, but I don't think it is any indicator of pregnancy. I didn't have it happen durring any of my pregnancies but was almost constant after I had my RNY done.  I know thisdoesn't really help you at all with the pregnancy aspect of your question, but I hope you get your bfp soon.

I had the same taste in my mouth after my RNY and now while I am pregnant. I am just now in my second trimester and dealing with the taste much better now...it is gross but def. a symptom of pregnancy...

Can't wait to find out your results!!
