The baby Dropped

(TMI) On Sunday after hubby and I had sex the baby totally dropped, I'm only 30 weeks.... isn't that way to early? When did you all drop, I don't remember dropping with my other two. He is so low it feels like I could reach up their and shake his hand. When I'm walking around and he moves I feel like I'm going to pee my pants because he is right on my bladder. When I lay down I get sharp shooting pains down in my hoohah when he moves...not a good feeling! Since being off work I haven't had many contractions and even the BH have slowed way down. Tell me some of you have felt this and he is not going to fall out when I'm walking. I have my next Dr appt on Monday with an ultrasound, so I will talk to my doctor about it, just wanted to know what all of you have experienced.

Remember that later babies bake a bit faster.. so maybe it's not horrible.

What do you mean by later babies? The more you have? You have confused this preggo brain....it doesn't take much :)

The more you have.

*General* adage is that first babies are generally late.  2nd babies tend to be right on time.  3rd babies go "early", etc.  At least all my OB's told me this (and we were med school pregnancies -- I probably had 20 OB's.. they revolve).

God only knows what happens when you have 18 kiddos...

How funny, I had my first one on his due date, my second was at 38 weeks, does that mean I will have this little guy about 36 weeks? That only gives me 5 weeks....

18 pregnancys... they probably fall out around 30 weeks...lol

Med school? Are you a doctor? You must be, you know so much and are so helpful to this board.

No, but I have a memory that is freaky scary in how it picks up and holds onto some info.

I'm right between several very good med schools, and have a slight thyroid condition which warranted "high risk care" and the closest "high risk" clinician was at ECU's med school.

My second one dropped very early. I almost had him at 28 weeks though too. He was determined to get here. I dropped around 32-33 weeks with my first though. I think it all just depends though. Think positive!!  Good thing the contractions are not there so much so thats a great thing!!

Wow! You must have been so uncomfy!  Remind me, how many weeks were you when you delivered?
