Sterilizing?
I wash everything in ho****er. My pediatrician did not want me heating the plastic to boiling on a regular basis because of the chemicals that leach out of the plastic when it is exposed to high temps. He went crazy when I told him I was using the Medela microwave sterilization bags, the mw heats the parts too high for his liking.
God Bless! Jen

I was watching Michale J. Fox on Letterman tonight, and the topic made me think of this post.
He said "When you have the first baby, if the pacifier falls on the floor you go get a new one and then throw the dirty one in boiling water. With the second baby, you just wa**** in ho****er. With the third, you just lick it and give it back, and then with the forth you just let the dog lick it and then give it back" LOL

This is the sterilizer that I have
I hand wash dirty bottles then load the sterilizer. It has 2 different sterlilizer cycles. I love this machine! I've used it with both girls, and will use it once our baby boy is born. I put bottles, binki's, spoons, sippy cups all in this.
I've never boiled or used the dishwasher. I've only hand washed and used this sterilizer. Been doing this since my 1st was born almost 7 years ago.
