getting nervous
I am defiantely not saying it's normal. But......
I bled for 3 weeks and was in pain the entire time. Lots of cramps. However, I ALWAYS bleed longer and take longer to heal than most people.
Even after birth I bled 5.5 weeks! And lots of clots. So it's not unheard of. It's "my normal". But you are doing the right thing. It may be that you just bleed longer, or it may be an issue. But you definately want to make sure you find out. Let us know what the doc says!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Thanks Jo. I am usually a very quick healer (had RNY tuesday back to work 1/2 days monday morning) so this is freaking me out a bit. I thought that it was gone - bleeding turned to spotting, turned to brown and almost gone. well last night there was this giant clot that creeped me out then some more bleeding back to bright red (sorry for all the TMI). This morning I am pretty crampy and just feeling yuck. Almost like the 2nd day of my "normal" period (which has only ever lasted 3-4 days at the most and cramping only the day before and first day)
The office opens at 8:30 (EST) so I'll call then. I'll keep you posted!

Hoping they can give you answers...Like I said before AF returned a week after my D&C / D&E and I was horrible...I had cramps, clots, and just felt like I had the yucks (almost worn out like the flu) which was not my normal AF type of issue..But it was my cylce, because AF showed again 32 days later which was my normal cycle. Feel better soon.
