Monday Weigh In IM IN SHOCK!!!!

I weighed myself 11 times before I would believe it. You may remember that at my last weigh in I had gained 2 pounds. In fact for about 4 weeks I really didn't lose but yo yo for about 4 pounds. Last Monday I spent half the day crying. I felt like I was working so hard for nothing. Monday-Wednesday of last week I upped my calories to 1600. I increased my walking a bit but didn't even hit 1200 the last few days. SOOOOOOO last Monday I was 198.2 and today I am 190.3!!!!!! I am still not sure I believe it. I am tempted to run to the doctors and get on his scale but it is in the hallway and I want to weigh nude. 7.9 pounds. The weird thing is this puts me right back on track from what I was losing per month. I can't believe I am so close to the 80's when just last week I was kissing 200 again. My total weight loss is just a hair under 50 pounds but I am counting it as 50! 50 pounds since February 9th. I am almost afraid of next weeks weigh in! Will it even be possible to lose this week?

I hope all of you had a great week and will post. I have to trust this process more and know that it will work eventually, even if the scale doesn't move or go up it HAS to come off if more gets burned then eaten.

My NUT told me that sometimes we aren't getting enough calories and our body holds on to what we do take in - CONGRATS on an awesome weight loss for the week!!!

My scale died but I want to get back into the "groove" so i'll probably start posting next week after I buy a new scale. I've been stuck at 192 and want to get to my goal of 170 preferably before my 3 year surgiversary.

Good luck getting to goal. I have heard of the "not eating enough" reason for not losing but it is so hard to wrap my brain around it. It is weird how some days I am starving every few hours and other days I force myself to eat even 1200.

I think I am going to invest in a new scale. I weigh on the Wii Fit most of the time and back it up with an old scale that I keep in the barn so I am not tempted to weigh during the week.

Jennifer! That is completely awesome..........Oh I am so jealous.

I have a .5 lb loss. I am not over joyed but should be happy it wasn't a gain after the terrible eating over the weekend.

Congrats again..........I am waiting on that magic "weight" where you PROMISED to post a pic. Was that 180 or 170? LOL

Congratulations on .5 pounds lost. My new mindset is that any loss is good. After that gain put me in such a depression, I was prepared this morning to be happy with any loss.

Pictures are very hard for me. I have taken pictures of myself with my camera phone and I am always shocked by how I look. I do have a picture of me at 240 and somewhere I have one of me at 354 so when I am ready to post them I will include those 2. My magic weight was a BMI of 29.99 or less so I think that I would have to weigh about 175....hopefully soon. If not, then when I go to Disney on August 25, I will post one no matter what.

That is awesome news.BIG congrats on your loss!!! I have been doing a lottttttttttttttttt of crying latley,i gained 45 pounds and that is with not eating at all or with eating and vomitting it back up. Hubby and i are back on liquid and protein shakes. we started this on 6-21 and i weighed 241 and on 6-28 i weighed in at 235,so the scale is moving down slowly.
If u dont mind i would love to be part of this.Do we weigh in once a week?Every monday?

I had gained back about 55 pounds when I started doing this on 2/9. I guess it was too the point where I knew that I was on my way back up to 354. We have been weighing every Monday. So of course you are welcome to post your weight too. I will post a reminder on Sunday and whomever wants can start the post on Monday.

Congrats!!! That is so AWESOME!!! I need to be doing the same as you!!! I am still being pretty good about what I am doing. I NEED to exercise my butt off though. Not doing to good with that one.
