Accidently or not.

I'm guessing if there were any miracles/shocked very early out.....and how that effected the baby and your health....

not interested terribly in wat happened to thhw WLJ itself....more concerned about baby and mother health effects of early accidental falls after WLS

Do you mean fall pregnant?  I don't think I understand your question...or do you mean LITERALLY fall?

Thanks!

I just googled "fall pregnant" and a bunch of Australian sites came up -- looks like it means "got pregnant."

I got pregnant 6 months out.  It was a big surprise, but we are thrilled -- now he's 7 weeks old!

My post-WLS pregnancy was basically the same as the first -- gestational diabetes both times, gained 20 pounds (9 kg) with pre-op baby and 25 (11) with post-op.  Baby #1 weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces (roughly 3.15 kg) and was 18 1/2 inches (47 cm) long.  Baby #2 was 7 pounds, 14 ounces (roughly 3.57 kg) and was 19 1/2 (49.5) inches long.

LMAO!! OMG it is too funny how we didn't know what she was talking about! Now that you've explained it, it makes perfect sense.

I fell pregnant 2 years after RNY. I think i'm doing ok so far but i'm only 2 months pregnant so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :D

I quite seriously thought you were drunk ... then read the other posts that explained the term.

I have a sweet friend that is moving to Perth next month, I'll have to tell her that one.

I fell at 9 months and then again at 25 months post op.  My second post op baby is 6 months and I am not pregnant yet.

Both babies are healthy and thriving.  My second post op pregnancy was rougher than the first, depleted vitamin and mineral stores contributed to some issues.

God Bless! Jen

G-day! When I read your post, I got the imagine of falling on a penis and getting pregnant. With that image firmly in my head I pictured all these woman tripping over bodyless penises. I have a warped mind.

I got pregnant with my first post op baby at 8 months out. My second 3 years later. Both are healthy, were/are solely breastfed and I have not had any issues with pregnancy or nursing.

I did however have a hernia repair/TT and lost tons of blood so I had blood transfusion and iron infusion in between babies.

Good luck falling!!

(Now I have Waltzing Matilda going through my head)

I tripped and fell on a penis just one month post op. Everett was born May 6th. Birth control pills do not always absorb the same way after WLS so be sure to add condoms to the routine.
