update........... terrified!!!!!!!!!!!
As most of you know I had weight loss surgery a little over three years ago and I lost 150 pounds.I have been having a lot of issues with vomitting when i eat and having pain and a lot of naseous spells.Well I went and seen a general surgeon that removed my apendix last march and his hands are tied as he does not deal with weight loss patients, well with those problems.
The general surgeon wants me to see a gastric bypass surgeon right away. The general surgeon also said that he is in fear there may be something wrong with my new stomach,im terrified im not even going to lie.
Well i dread even eating cause i hurt so bad its not even worth it so i am going to go back to just liquids and see what that does.
what im writing this for is to inform everyone but to also ask all of you that pray could you say a little prayer for me.
Thank you and GOD bless

I pray that whatever the problem is, it's got an easy fix. I know you live in a relatively small town w/o a 'big' city (Roseburg doesn't count as big...I was born there and lived in Sutherlin for years!) around w/a good hospital. Is there a dr in Eugene (they have pretty good hospitals) who could see you so you don't have to drive all the way to Portland? Or can you go to Portland, where they have very good hospitals?
That's a ***** of a way to make sure you stay on your diet that it's just too painful to eat. If you go to just liquids, try to make them protein liquids at least so you're getting something in your body needs.
Keep us posted!

I live in winston and work in sutherlin. The hospital here sucks. I am willing to travel werever i have to, to get the proper care that is needed to get me better.I would rather just go to eugene but would go to portland. The surgeon that the other surgeon referred me too is out of eugene but there is always OSU where they do have gastric bypass doctors for sure.
For sure i will be taking in lots of protein drinks.
Thanks again Holly!!!

PS - I am getting by. Having some wonderful friends over sunday that are really going to help us grieve/vent/ and just offer support!
I hope you get to feeling better soon... I'm not sure if it can happen this far out but it may be a stricture (narrowing) around the bypass area(s) that's causing the problem... Whatever it takes, please go get some help because it's not good for you & you are more than likely losing a lot of nutrients your body needs with all that going on... Give the bypass surgeon a call & get in to be checked out as soon as possible hon... You will be in my thoughts!!
