BFP

Say a prayer that is is the one that sticks around!  I go over to the health unit in a few hours to learn how to start the lovenox injections...up my thyroid meds...etc etc....and will see the ob/gyn specialist when he gets back to me.

Thank you Julia!  I'm scared to death and excited at the same time.  Not looking forward to the injections...and think this is going to mean the end of my vacation next week to New Delhi...but that's OK.  I'll suck up the injections and survive w/o New Delhi in the hopes that it'll help this one stick around!

Holly-  it sucks you will miss out on your vacation.  But it will SOOOOO be worth it.  I've never been pregnant so I don't know what it's like to be so scared and excited at the same time.  But I can totally imagine what it would be like.  I'm sure it will be the same for me once I do ever get preg.
Hey wasn't this your very first IUI too?  Oh how wonderful!  I am so excited for you!

I may still take the time off and sit at home and rest.  I'd love to go to India, but I hear so much about how people get sick there just from lack of hygiene...and it'll be 105-110 degrees and the beginning of the monsoon season...which means even more lack of hygiene since they just do their business wherever, so if it rains, the streets will flood...and it won't be just rain water if you know what I mean.  It's the same here in Jakarta (except it's only 90 degrees and we're in our 'dry-er' (as in less wet) season...but when it floods...I'd rather stand on a fence and drowned than walk in the flood water.

I'm sure when you do get pg, you'll be nervous and excited too...I'm more scared just because of my recent history w/three consecutive mc's than anything.  I do have a 14 year old son at home, so I've been pg before (and had no problems w/that pregnancy, which is why the three mc threw me for a loop!)...so hopefully/prayerfully this one will follow in the footsteps of my pregnancy w/my son.

This was my first IUI.  I assume it was successful because I have not had trouble getting pg in the past...they  just did the IUI to speed up the process because of my age (41 and change).  I'm keeping everything I have that can cross crossed so that you and some of the other TTCers can join me soon...and that I can stay on Laurie's list!

They are all good, we just got over being sick, ACK.  It sucks when one is sick, but this last round everyone even me and hubby had it.  We flew twice in 48 hours and I blame it on the airplane air.

Yep, she just turned 6 months.  You need to get on facebook my facebook friends list :) I post tons and tons of pics there.  are you on facebook?

Thank you Sandy!  I was shocked, considering when I POAS on Sunday (15DPO) it was negative...I only did the blood test because my nipples were hurting like hell and no AF yet.  I was sure they'd have to give me some sort of drugs to make AF start up again, that my body was out of whack w/all the hormones I'm on right now.

I'll be praying for good  news for you too - regarding your current medical problems and that you get a BFP too.
