I will be honest it is very hard..for me anyway! I have had issues the whole time with the gaining and I take the advice from the ladies here and right now i am trying to focus on the baby and once he is born I can go back to using my tool and focusing on myself!
But I know this little bundle of joy is all worth it and I have this amazing tool that I can use later!
Best of luck with your decision!!

I am having a hard time with the weight gain as well. Just seeing the scale move up after working so hard to have it move down. I have scale issues and will not weigh anymore at my home except when it is a must at my OB appt. I have gained 17 pounds so far, started out at 122 pounds and the Doctor wanted me to gain 35-40 pounds. I have to keep positive thoughts that the gain is for all the right reasons, and after delivery most will be gone and i have the power and control to get back to where i was.
I worried a lot about the weight gain, but honestly, I wanted a baby more. I was quite happy at the weight I had reached (150), then I got pregnant and gained a lot of weight. I dreaded each passing week due to the fact that there seemed to be no end to my weight gain. I gained about 75 pounds by the time I delivered. Eventually though, I just gave up the worry and trusted in myself that I could lose the weight again. It is now nearly 18 months later, and I have about 7-8 more pounds to lose to get back to 150. It was so worth it to me!
Best of luck to you!

Well... about 35-40 of it pretty much came off on it's own by my 6 week check-up. The rest I have lost by counting calories, plain and simple. I have tried to exercise, as well, but I have really not done as much of that as I should or would like to. I plan to keep trying to improve on that part. Maybe I will get even lower than I was before - who knows?
Anyway, that's how I did it. It just meant so much to me to get back down there that I have been dedicated. It really has just become a way of life for me again.
Take Care!

I gained 70 pounds with my daughter, I lost it all in 6 months - BUT I will not lie it was pure HELL and alot of will power for the last 35 pounds. Like Tanja said the first 35 came off in 6 weeks. I will be 35 weeks on Sunday and have gained 45 pounds already, I have faith it will come off but know it will be work so I already have that mind set. But the baby makes the weight really petty. Just be healthy, it will come off.
It varies so much, some around here have gained very little, some have gained a lot, but it seems like most folks don't have too much trouble getting the weight off again. I'm up about 18 lbs myself, but I think it won't be too hard to get going on losing again once I've delivered.
