Just an update from the weekend!!

Sunday I went in to the ER cause Saturday I could not keep anything in. No water or food and I had pain in my back. Sunday got to ER at 1100 am and was given 2 bags of IV fluid and morphine which did not work of course. They did an ultrasound and looked at my kidneys and all. By 500 they decided to send me to labor and delivery to be monitored. Got there and at 7 they decided to admit me. I could not hold water down for them either. I got another rhogam shot and 2 sticks just to get the one tube of blood and 1 stick for the IV. They removed my IV when I left ER so they had to find another site in Mother baby clinic. By Monday morning they did not like my urine output so the gave me a catheter. OUCH> I hate those cause I have a bladder disease that makes them extremely painful. I made them take it out Monday night. I was receiving 2 antibiotics, phenergan, zofran and dilotin for pain. So it comes down to now I have a kidney infection and possiible stones passing. I finally got out today with precocet, macrobid for 10 days, phergan, zofran and macrodantin that I will be on daily till after the baby is born. So after 13 needle sticks, 2 blown veins, a catheter, no sleep for 3 days and lots of meds I am home and trying to actually rest. Baby looked great on ultrasound and was moving like crazy. I cant feel that yet though. :( So I will be on this low dose preventative antibiotic in hopes there will not be another infection. My blood pressure though is staying around 80/50. Crazy. Thanks for reading and thanks to all those on FB for the support!!

I'm glad they at least seem to have found the problem...though it's not a problem I'd have wished on anyone!  Hope the meds are helping and you're feeling better soon!

I am so glad you are home.....I didn't get a chance to check here or FB last night so I didn't know if you ever made it home or not.

I surely hope you can get some rest and the antibiotic keeps all infections away! thanks for updating and hang in there!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
