Did anyone NOT gain ANY weight during the 1st trimester?

I didn't gain anything until around 27 weeks.  I kept gaining then losing the same pounds.  I finally managed to gain 2 lbs and gave birth to a healthy little boy on 3/1 who weighed 6lbs 10 oz.  I was told that as long as my LO was growing and I was measuring good they were not concerned about how much weight I was or was not putting on.

Congratulations!   I lost 7 pounds while I was pregnant. Normal for WLS pregnant women. As long as baby is growing and healthy you will be fine.

I lost during the first tri as well. I had major issues with GERD and was put on meds etc,.... I am not considered high risk by my OB. He wanted me to gain 35-40 pounds total for this pregnancy and i am right at 17 pounds up so far. Baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead in size and my Doctor is not concerned at all. Everyone and every Doctor different. As long as your baby is on track, as well as you are on track with your vitamins, fluids. You should be just fine.

Edited: cause i cant spell today!

I am 16 weeks and have lost 17 pounds so far. Think as long as baby is alright then thats the important thing.

I'm not sure if I've already told you this but CONGRATULATIONS on the pregnancy and everything!!

don't worry about it. there is no magic rule by which to measure pregnancy. I am 26 weeks and still down 18 pounds as of last month. I think I gained some this month but I don't know so we shall see when I go to the OB tomarrow.

ALL of my doctors agree... as long as baby is growing at a steady rate, you are fine.

Good luck.
