Suprise ultrasound!!
Sooooooo, today was my first appt with the actual OB/GYN. First of all I made a good choice, she is an awesome lady and we both like her alot. The only concern was high blood pressure (120/90) but I was nervous and had a little coffee earlier in the day so I am sure that was all it was. She is having me back in 2 weeks from now to make sure or she is going to put me on drugs to lower it. I have had excellent BP since my RNY so this is weird for me. Doesn't help it's 90 outside. So then she asked me about the due date, I said I am not sure that I got the period timing right because I don't even remember that period, which is true. This made her say, well I want an U/S to be sure then. Low and behold I got it completely right. I am right on. Soooooo she does a pelvic and some testing and then sends us down the hall to the practices U/S area. Hubby holds my hand when up on the screen comes our little one! Feet and face and all! And just when I think it can't be any more amazing she starts jumping up and down!!!!!!!!!! and then she stretches pushing with her legs like "its too cramped in here, gimme more room." Is that much activity this early normal? Hubby said, You can't feel that? I explained she weighs about 1 1/2 ounces so no I can't. He was amazed, I cried, and we have a great pic I will post later if I can figure out how. God is sooooo good to us!
That much movement is totally normal! Mine was squirmy as well, and nothing has changed!
