OT: may be having more surgery
I know that this is way off subject but I am here daily and I may be gone for a few days so I wanted to update. I will have my laptop but all depending on what happens on when i can update.
I had my WLS in march 06 and have NO regrets, dont get me wrong. I have lost 150 pounds and feel like a whole new person. Well last march I had my apendix's removed and I had a hernia on the small bowel fixed. Well every since then off and on,but a LOTTTTTTTTT the last few months I have been VERY naseous and vomitting when i eat. I have to take regalan to even eat a piece of cheese cause it makes me VERY ill. Well the same surgeon that did my surgery last year wants to see me in his office today in a hour and a half and it take a hour to get there. What he believes the issue may be is MAJOR scar tissue as I had lots on the last surgery he removed. The only thing with removing it is, it CAN come back. I pray that if he goes in and removes it all,it stays away cause this is miserable.
I dont bring this issue to the board usually cause it is way off topic but really needed to vent and wanted all my OH sisters to know what was going on.
BIG hugs to you all and I will update AS SOON as I am able
Sandy
Just got back from the appt. The surgeon I seen today has referred me over to a gastric bypass surgeon to see if maybe if there is something going wrong with my pouch.I pray NOT!!!
The surgeon I seen today did my apendix surgery along with another surgeon that does specialize in gastric bypass and they fixed me up then but the surgeon i seen today does not specialize in gastric bypass so we will see what happens with this other surgeon.
In the meantime,I have got to continue to suffer with the severe pain and naseous feeling.
Thank you all for the responses it means a lot to me.
Rob is doing GREAT!!!!!

I had a lot of internal scarring (adhesions) as well and had to have them lysed. The problem is always that yes, they can grow back. Any abdominal surgery can lead to scarring like that, but some people are just more prone to it than others. My gastric bypass surgeon said he'd never seen anyone scar as severely or as quickly as I did.
I wish you the best and am very sympathetic to your plight!
