I don't know how long it will last. Some are only a day or so, some last over a week. Hopefully all the meds will kick in and he will perk up soon. It is SO HARD when they are so sick and you feel helpless.

I am hoping it gets better for both of you quickly.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I'd say that assulting Elmo qualifies as feeling a little better.

That's good to hear.

Oh Lexa, this was my post not too long ago! I'm so sorry Jayson is sick and it certainly is a helpless feeling for parents.

Everett was on antibiotics for 10 days and it too****il this morning for him to seem like himself again. I guess every virus and body is different, but I would think you will start seeing improvement soon. If not, a call to the ped should help ease your mind or get him in for another checkup.

Hang in there! I kept telling myself that every illness actually boosts a child's immune system, so that's the only "silver" lining.

Hugs,

Jo

oh man, that sucks. I cant imagine haveing my little guy sick for so long.
Megan had the fever for 7 days. It finally left and turned into a nightmare cough. She had hardly any other symptoms, just a fever.
Hope he feels better soon.

hi my friend...

I am soooooooooooo sorry our little Jayson is sick....I so know how you feel.....Nathan has been on breathing treatments (we have the penguin) with two different kinds of meds....he has been on it since he was 3 months old and will stay for sure on until 9 mos check up.....anytime he gets a little cold he gets wheezy...we hope it is not asthma....

BUT it does get better.....after Nathan's plane ride he got bad diahrea and vomitting and fever....am sure some of it was stress of the ride and different place but it took about 5 days to go away.....they are tough little guys....

Please give Jayson a hug and kiss from Nathan and I!

xoxo
