Sophie is 7 mos old! (With Pictures of course)
Howdy all,
My baby turned 7 months old yesterday and I am still in disbelief. I swear, she was just born a few weeks ago... Well I think at my 6 month update I told you she hated eating solids. That has changed. She eats much better now. She has organic oatmeal, sometimes with fruit, sometimes without. She eats it right up. It's really cute how she sees the spoon and she sort of dives forward to get her mouth to the food. It cracks me up! I'm going to be introducing more foods in the coming days and weeks.
She isn't crawling still, but she does get up on her hands and knees and sort of rocks back and forth, so I know it's only a matter of time. She rolls around the room (like Ann's baby Nathan) to get to stuff.
I don't know her height/weight, but a month ago she was almost 19 lbs and 24.5 inches, so add to that the appropriate gains, and I'm sure that's about where she's at.
She is getting very attached to me and it's fun but also a little problematic when she panics if I leave the room. I don't know exactly what to do about that, except to hope it gets better with time.
Well enough about that, here are the pictures!
She started out like this 7 mos ago........
And now she looks like this.......
The two pics above were taken when I put on her Dora sunglasses and I was surprised that she liked them. The pic on the left was taken while she was sitting in her bumbo.
This one below was from today. I thought it was cute when I went in to wake her up for church, and her little feet were sticking out of the crib...she loves to sleep with Mister Cow.
This last one is from a free concert in the park that we went to. Yes, that is an ice cream in my hand. Naughty, I know!
That's all for now. Thanks for looking!

She is, of course, adorable as ever. It seems like just yesterday that we were commiserating about how much we were NOT the glowing picture-perfect pregnant women that others are Oh, it's great to see a picture of you too - you both have some nice glasses!
