Tomorrow is Weigh Day and a size question.
Tomorrow is weigh day. I hope you all have great numbers on the scale. I am worried that if I don't see some better results that I am really going to be at a loss as too why. After today I will be at 21 miles of walking for the week, hit my fiber goal every day this week. TMI but I went every day this week but one. For some reason though I am afraid of the scale tomorrow.
I am firmly in a size 18 jean. I have on a pair of zip up capri's right now that are 16 but they are too tight when I sit and have been stretched out so it doesn't count. My BMI is 33 something. I have been reading other boards and saw a few where people right around my BMI are in a 13/14. I have even read 2 people who have higher BMIs say they are in a 16 and one who's BMI was 40 say she is in an 18. I guess what I want to know is how tall are you, what is your BMI and what size jean do you wear?

oh don't know my BMI..but i am 5'7 about 208 right now..I fluctuate tons though...and after this last baby I gained most of my "baby weight" in my hips, thighs and butt...so I am larger now there than before.. so before baby I was a 14 in pants and 12 in skirts.. now I am a 16 pants some 14 fit..but tight.my weight is all in the lower half.you can see what i look like on my facbook page.
hope this helps.

Well... right now my BMI is right about 27, and I am wearing 10s and 12s (mostly 10s & I have one pair of size 8s that I can wear); I am 5 ' 4". I am guessing you are about the same height as I am. Six weeks after I gave birth, I weighed about 196 pounds (BMI at that time was between 33 and 34), and I was wearing a 16 comfortably. However... a key factor in this whole equation is spandex. Do your pants have any amount of spandex in them? It makes a huge difference and can help you go down a pants size! All of my jeans have spandex, otherwise I would probably be wearing 12s.
Another thing, too, is body shape. My mom and I can be the same weight, and she will always wear larger pants then I do because she is more an apple shape and I am pear-shaped. She buys them to fit in the waist, but then they kind of hang off of her butt and legs; I have a smaller waist, though, so I am always at least a size smaller if we are at the same weight. We are both the same height.
Just my thoughts! Good luck tomorrow. You have done great with your walking!!
