Tomorrow is Weigh Day and a size question.

Tomorrow is weigh day. I hope you all have great numbers on the scale. I am worried that if I don't see some better results that I am really going to be at a loss as too why. After today I will be at 21 miles of walking for the week, hit my fiber goal every day this week. TMI but I went every day this week but one. For some reason though I am afraid of the scale tomorrow.

I am firmly in a size 18 jean. I have on a pair of zip up capri's right now that are 16 but they are too tight when I sit and have been stretched out so it doesn't count. My BMI is 33 something. I have been reading other boards and saw a few where people right around my BMI are in a 13/14. I have even read 2 people who have higher BMIs say they are in a 16 and one who's BMI was 40 say she is in an 18. I guess what I want to know is how tall are you, what is your BMI and what size jean do you wear?

I seem to have gained in my thighs also. I think maybe it was after the TT the fat picks a new place to deposit. I will check it out on Facebook. Have we added each other?

hey tricia, i would be thrilled if my butt got huge because i have no butt.  maybe i need a tummy tuck to look more proportional.....but i'd have to lose a lot in order to get a TT....  hrmpf.

Well... right now my BMI is right about 27, and I am wearing 10s and 12s (mostly 10s & I have one pair of size 8s that I can wear); I am 5 ' 4".  I am guessing you are about the same height as I am.  Six weeks after I gave birth, I weighed about 196 pounds (BMI at that time was between 33 and 34), and I was wearing a 16 comfortably.  However... a key factor in this whole equation is spandex.  Do your pants have any amount of spandex in them?  It makes a huge difference and can help you go down a pants size!  All of my jeans have spandex, otherwise I would probably be wearing 12s.

Another thing, too, is body shape.  My mom and I can be the same weight, and she will always wear larger pants then I do because she is more an apple shape and I am pear-shaped.  She buys them to fit in the waist, but then they kind of hang off of her butt and legs; I have a smaller waist, though, so I am always at least a size smaller if we are at the same weight.  We are both the same height.

Just my thoughts!  Good luck tomorrow.  You have done great with your walking!!

Yes we are the same height!! You, me, and most women LOL. My pants are just regular jeans. It seems when I sit they feel so much tighter. Good for you getting down so low. How many more days until Joe comes home?
