Ow, my ribs!

If I stand up for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, my ribs start to ACHE! Mostly in the area just under my boobs to just above my bump. I know it's a muscular ache and I assume it's from the weight those muscles are helping to support, but once they start to hurt it takes a LONG time to feel better, even after I sit down.
I had to make some cupcakes yesterday for a friend's birthday so I was standing around in my kitchen doing stuff for probably an hour and a half. I sat down whenever I could, but my ribs started to hurt so much that I felt like crying. After I was all done I went off to my water aerobics class, and that helped some, but I still ached the rest of the night.
Do any of you out there who have experience with this have any suggestions? Is there a position to sit in or lay in that feels better? Is there some stretch I can do??

I get the EXACT same thing!  You are only 12 days ahead of me!  I figured it was because I am large busted (I am a 38L!), and the weight of them resting on my ribs was causing the pain!  I find if the ribs are aching too much, I go and lay down.  This seems to help.  Seems like if if I lay flat, and stretch out, it helps!    I take it as a sign that I am overdoing it, and use this as a note to REST!

I probably should rest more, but I seem to have so much stuff that I need to get done these days!
I don't think it's the boob size that is the issue, I'm just a 38D.

My cousin had the same symptoms not long ago - come to find out the babies foot was stuck in her rib - she got it out herself but she said it was really painful. Maybe that is your case too?

Wish I had some advice for ya. But I hope your discomfort goes away quickly!

I feel his feet moving all over the place, so i don't think it's that. The pain is uniform, acorss both sides of my rib cage at the same time.

Could it possibly be gall bladder? I don't have mine anymore not sure if you do or not. But that is the kind of pain I had with my gall bladder attacks...

Nope, mine was taken out a while back (so glad to be rid of it!)...and it isn't when I eat, just when I stand for a while.

I got that same pain with my last pregnancy when I was driving for a long time. As soon as I streched out I was OK. Weird sounds like the same pain but standing made mine feel better, wish I had some answers for you...sorry, hope you get some answers.
