Hello Everyone,

My 3 year anniversary is tomorrow and I am still down 160lbs.  However, I found out Monday that my second IUI attempt was unsuccessful.  With all the blessings the surgery has been for me and the fact that all the doctors think pregnancy is going to happen, Why is it taking so long?  My husband has also had surgery and is down 120 lbs.  He is doing great!  I just wish that we could have this last part of our dream happen, having our child.  We have been married for 11 years come next month.  This is such a long process.  The doctor says after this IUI we switch to IVF if it doesn't work.  I really hope it works.  I'm starting to wonder...

Sadly, there have been (and are) a lot of women on here who have had surgery and still have unexplained infertility.  Every Friday there is a TTC (Trying To Conceive) post.  Look for it and add yourself to the list, they are great support for each other.

Good luck to you!!

(((HUGS))) I totally understand your pain. I had surgery in April 2005 only to lose weight to be able to get pregnant but had no success. I had multiple IUI's that failed. It hurts and it's not fair that our body won't do what we want.
I hope you get your pregnancy wish soon and that IVF works for you.
Best wishes. Be sad, be angry, be whatever you want, it helps.

Sending you lots of baby dust!!

Tami

Thanks for the well wishes.  I am hoping that this is going to be the 3rd times a charm for us.  Otherwise, its off to IVF.  Many say that is probably going to be our best option for success.  We'll see.

I return all the baby dust to you!  We should all be able to enjoy this.
