OH Vet and scared to death
Hi everyone,
I am a veteran of OH who has been pretty inactive on the boards. I am 2 years out from GBS and today I found out I am pregnant. I'm going to need to lean on you guys as I am afraid to gain back the weight. I'm sure this has been asked before, and believe me, I will read ALL of the older posts, but is it going to be hard to lose the baby weight since my pouch is a little older and I don't have as much restriction?

Congratulations and your are definitely NOT alone on worries on losing the weight! I have gained WAY more than I ever thought I would at 30 weeks but from the advice of many of the ladies here I am focusing on the baby right now and trying NOT to stress on the weight and once he is born I can focus back on putting my tool back to work! Oh and I got pregnant at 2 years and a couple months out!
Best of Luck and know you are NOT alone!!

First - CONGRATS and WELCOME!!
Second - I gained a lot of weight with my last pregnancy and was only 4 months out from surgery when I got pregnant. BUT - with that said, I lost all but 8 of it within 2 weeks of having him. I just didn't try hard enough to get the final 8 lbs off.
Some women here gain almost nothing. Some actually gain nothing or negative. However, I gained 50 - but like I said, I lost 42 within 2 weeks. Breastfeeding will help it go even faster!
Good luck to you!!
