Did you just "know"

I knew that mine was a girl.
I have great skin usually, and not long after I got pregnant my jawline broke out. I kept telling hubby it was a girl because of that, he thought I was crazy until we got the ultrasound done! LOL You know that old wives tale about 'girls steal your beauty'. Ha ha ha  But I knew it in my gut, even though I had wished for a boy.

Oh - I totally KNEW that this baby is a boy.  I had the name all picked out, at the early ultrasound the tech was pretty sure she saw boy parts, the pregnancy was so different than anything I experienced with my daughters.

Guess what!  IT'S TOTALLY A GIRL. There is no room for errors on this either, I totally saw the girl parts on the detailed scan.

It was a little heartbreaking at first because I was so wanting a boy (and was so convinced).  Of course, I am thrilled now!

Love, Riah

I just knew I was having a boy.  Hubby thought so too.   Obviously we were wrong.  This time hubby says boy and I say another girl.
Have you looked it up on the chinese gender predictor chart?   It was right with Hannah.  This time it says I will have a boy.   Only time will tell!

Well if they go by heart rates mine should have been girls. Theirs were always high. Never below 160 the whole time. Now on last check this one is sitting at 156. I did not know with first one till I had him though cause that was 15 years ago. OMG!! Second one I hoped for a girl cause I already had a boy. When she said it was a boy at ultrasound I was sad and then it took a few days for it to sink in. I would not trade him for anything. This one I say is a boy but thats cause I would rather call him a boy unless someone tells me otherwise. I am happy either way. I just want a healthy baby.

Hi Liz,

We didn't find out what we were having either time.  With my first, I wasn't sure until near the end, and then I was pretty sure she was a girl -- and she was.  With my second, I really wanted my daughter to have a sister, but I thought he was a boy -- and he was!  So I guess I did know, but sometimes people "know" and are wrong.  My mom thought she was having a boy with both pregnancies, and she got my sister and me!  :)

Also, the heartrate split is 140 -- under 140, it's supposedly a boy, and over, it's supposedly a girl.  I don't remember my daughter's heartrates, but at times, my son's heartrate was in the 120s and other times, the 150s.  It depends on how active they are at the time, and might even depend on if you just ate.

There are lots of fun gender predictors online, too.  Google "boy or girl?" and you'll find little quizzes.  The Chinese gender predictor was right both times.  Here's a fun list:

Thanks that is a neat list! The problem - 1/2 of each! lol thats why a few of my family/friends are going twins - guess we'll find out today!

I have/had morning (ALL DAY) sickness, pimples,  hair is growing out of control on my legs, extra moody. So funny - I love these lists! Chinese predicition is girl.

I just knew I was having a boy.  Umm... not so much.  Sophie's all girl.   In my case, I think I wanted a girl more than a boy, and so I didn't let myself believe it could be what I really wanted, since I already felt so fortunate that I was pregnant at all.......if that makes any sense.  :)  Is there one that you secretly prefer?

Sophie sure is all girl! Such a cutie!!!

I am split - I want one of both so I'll have more of a preference next time! There arne't many girls on hubby's side of the family and well I am sure that the Grandmothers & Great Grandmothers would adore a girl (so much fun!) and well there's nothing sweeter then a boy! So I'm sticking with happy and healthy! lol
