its 4 am...............
Niko is teething too and is an otherwise laid back baby. He wakes up screaming and gnawing on his hands...even with motrin. So, I feel ya. One thing I've found over the last few weeks that REALLY helps him is giving him a thick slice of very cold seedless cucumber. The cold helps and, as I am writing this, I just realized that it's probably helping the swelling- like when they put them on puffy eyes at a spa. He loves them and they're cheap. I also bought a bag of frozen peach slices and I let him gnaw on those in his high chair while I'm cooking. They get kinda slimey.

yeah I went this am.. Dr still thinks it is a virus and its roseola? he doesn't have a rash though and has had the fever since Thursday night..so I am not on board with that but will wait one more day then I want blood work.
Aiden was calm and in pretty good spirits when I took him in..making mommy look like a lunatic... so I just don't know. Dr prescribed antibiotic, benadry and Tylenol every 4 hrs..

I know how stressful it is and how helpless you feel! And the whole thing is just compounded by lack of sleep.
If it is teething, I would also recommend the Hyland's Teething tablets. Sometimes they don't have them out -- you have to ask the pharmacist. They don't require a prescription, but sometimes they keep them behind the counter.
