I hear you about wanting to eat everything is sight...I honestly feel like I'm making such a consciencious effort to eat a well-balanced diet, that I'm practically dieting. But, as my N.P. said last week the less I gain on this side, the less there will be to lose later. I am focusing on meeting my protein and fiber goals for the day....and avoiding donut shops, etc. (Note: I'm particularly proud of myself for not having a fast food burger product since Saturday!)

To get my husband psyched for our ultrasounds I often do a Google image search of ultrasounds at x weeks and show them to him. It's cool to see all the different baby parts and how they change from ultrasound to ultrasound. Then, when we actually have our own ultrasound, we know what to expect to see.

Good luck!

LOL I was like that yesterday. Had to make a 10:00 pm grocery run to cereal cause that's what I wanted. Then when I got home and done with the cereal, it was my potato chips and orange pop. Before all this, I even had something else. Now I don't want to eat anything.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

seriously I know how you feel.

with my son (pre surgery) I was just eating constantly and never sick unless I didn't eat.  with Kaida (also presurgery) I was sick for weeks. like 8 of them or more.

with this one I was naseous but only actually sick a couple of times.  and the nausea went away by 10 weeks.  now i am hungry all the time.

Isn't pregnancy fun!?  I was just the opposite....to get rid of my m/s I had to constantly eat -- and eat carbs (crackers, chips, etc).  I gained 25 lbs fast - in 4 months.

Then the bigger the baby grew the less room I had and the less I wanted to eat.....  that would be when I started LOSING weight instead of gaining !

Now I'm lucky if I can eat a half-sandwich in one sitting.

Still.... I wouldn't trade this experience of being pregnant for anything!

Enjoy the "eating" phase while you can!!

He'll be excited when he sees the baby in the u/s.  The fact that you see the baby actually move will blow his and your minds.
