UGH!! I walked over 20 miles this week to lose one stupid pound. ONE POUND. That is not acceptable. I have only lost 4 pounds in the last 3 weeks and had that one pound gain a few weeks ago too. Down 44 pounds since 2/09/09 from 240 to 196.

Good luck to the rest of you. Hope you have great numbers.

I am down 1.5 pounds. I was hoping for the 2 pound loss. But at least the scale didn't go up. I hope to increase my exercise a little more this week.

The "fantasy" that I was going to do all this exercise every day isn't panning out. Still so off schedule with Jantzen and returning to work last week. Hopefully as Jantzen sleeps better and I get back into a routine, I will do better. But I am getting some in which is better than nothing I suppose!

Good luck to everyone!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Congratulations on 1.5. That is a good percentage since you are so small to begin with.

Good luck with the exercise. My goal this week is to take a softner everyday and hope to go more then once. I ate pistachios all week and apples and still didn't go. My fiber was 30 almost every day and still didn't go. Ended up using glycerin and went but I was not impressed LOL. I BETTER have a big loss next Monday or I may get really discouraged.

Well I certainly hope you "take the Brown's to the Super Bowl"...........as my oldest son would say.....LOL.

While preggo, I went 1-2 times daily. I am back to 2 times per week. Which makes me miserable so I can't even imagine going longer.

I hope it's a 3 pound poop you drop! LOL

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

LOLOL to the Super Bowl. I get worried about my bowels because my grandmother died of rectal/colon cancer. Since I am shaped just like her I wonder if my insides are like hers too.

I am doing all the right things so I don't know why I am not regular.

Life's not fair, and our bodies can suck at times.

But you won a pound!  A pound is still a win.  Consider it at that.

BTW -- We can meet at our resort one afternoon and do a pool thing.  Our pool, supposedly, is HUGE and has a water slide.  The kids can be kids and chill out for awhile.  Or we can do it in the evening.  Whatever, we'll keep it loose for now.

We've always stayed at Pop Century and it's a blast.  I'll miss the food court -- our Lodge has food that no viking would touch, and given the pricing, *I* won't either.  But we have a minibar in our room and we'll be driving.. so we'll be making trips to Publix for snacks and such to sustain us for less.  Gotta love having a micro and fridge in the room.

I feel like my body is very resistant to losing weight. The most I have ever lost before WLS was 70 pounds on Atkins. I lost all of that in 4 months but stayed on it for 11 months. For 7 months I stuck with Atkins and didn't lose another pound but I didn't gain either. The minute I went off it I gained back 90 pounds LOL.

I am committed to eating 1400 or less and exercising daily. If all I see is a pound a week from this point I will be upset but you are right, it is a pound in the right direction. A pound a week is 52 pounds in a year. With my BMI though I really need it to be 2 a week. I think my BMI this morning was like 33.50. I am still 20 pounds into the OBESE catagory.

I liked Pop when we stayed there last year. Except for the enema Reagan recieved in the pop up water area LOL. I think meeting for lunch at your resort will be perfect.

But not lunch in the hotel at my resort.  Trust me on this.. look it up: Sanaa.

We'll figure something out.  Like I said -- there's a Publix not far off campus, and we could easily bring yogurt and lunchables down to the pool area to enjoy while the kids play.

I am checking in late because I had to work today and am just winding down for the evening now, but I did weigh in this morning!  My weight was 158.0, which is a 1.4 pound loss.  I will take it!  I have continued to eat about 1600-1700 calories per day, which seems about right.  I could go a little lower on occasion too.

Your 1 pound loss is nothing to sneeze at.  Everyone else is right - at least you are heading in the right direction; please don't get too discouraged... you are doing great!  Plus, you are getting smaller, so it might be coming off a little slower for that reason??

As far as exercise goes, I only wish I had your dedication!  I have been trying to go for walks with Charlotte.  I would love to be able to go on my own, but it's just not working out that way.  I am hoping Joe will drag me walking everyday while he is home!  Only 18 days until I see him again!

Hope everyone has a great week!

GREAT JOB!! I am so excited for you and Joe! It will be so nice to be together for awhile.

I hated every moment of my walk today. Maybe 3 miles is too much for me. The first 1.25 miles I was pushing both kids. Then Reagan got out and played at the playground while I went around and around it. It is not enjoyable to walk around and around LOL.

I know in my head that if I don't exercise that I would be losing even slower. Every 10 days I lose about a pound just in the walking.
