OMG i want to rip my hair out... right now I am about to toss my hands in the air and say I quit....

I had the same trouble!   We had the middle name picked out from the beginning (marie), but could not agree on the first name.  Hannah was the only name we could agree on.   We both liked Sarah, but couldn't agree on the spelling.  I wanted it with an H on the end and he wanted it to end in A.
We had a boy name picked out.  Logan Josiah.   Last week his cousin named her little boy Logan (and he even has the same last name as ours).  Also our next door neighbors are having a boy and of course naming him Logan.  So if we ever have a boy we will probably have to pick another name ARRRGGGHHHHH!
Good luck in picking out a name.  I know it isn't easy!

I know about 10 Logans that are all 5 and under... it is really popular in my area... along with Gage and Mason... I'm glad my cousins are all a lot older than me and done having kids so I don't have to worry about them causing me issues lol... And Jeremy's cousins are still in college or just got out of school with now sig. others in sight lol...

Remember the rule - 9months vs about an hour of involvement of the pregnancy - that makes this whole breakdown 90% mom's choice - 10% dad's!! lol

What about Anne as a middle name?? He didn't go for any of the others? What else did he come up with???

MEN is right!

We are doing the whole no family name thing so we don't have issues... Ann (my mom's middle name) and Anne (my sister's middle name)... he is just being a brat... I just found the name Bronwynne- which means fair and blessed... he hated it... argh... even gave him the other spellings... still hated it...

LOL I will be right there with you I am afraid. Hubby wants a Jr. if it's a boy, I don't. We agree on the middle names. Marie for a girl (that's mine) and Elliott for a boy (that's his.) I mentioned the name Addison for a girl. (Love the way Addison Marie sounds.) and he was like EWWW NO!

It's gonna be a long 8 months trying to pick 2 names.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

lol... soo glad Jeremy isn't into that whole Jr. thing and that we are having a girl lol...

I had never heard of the name Addison until my cousin named his daughter that... and then the next year I had 6 friends pick it etc... so I went from never hearing it to it being everywhere...

I agree it is going to be a long few months... but I only have 2.5 months left if that lol...

It's actually a boys name and means "Son of Adam" but it's being used increasingly as a girls name. I talked to someone at church yesterday about the name since her son is named that. I love it tho for a girl.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

My husband kept saying he was going to name the baby, whether it was a boy or girl, after Detroit Tiger baseball players who hit grand slams or saved games--Magglio, Clete, Ivan...   Then he read through Louis L'Amour's old Western novels for names (although we did choose his middle name that way, Nolan).  He had many sources.  When he was being serious, we each listed names we loved for boys and girls, crossed off any name one of us couldn't stand, added as we each encountered more names we loved, eventually narrowed it down to 5-6 names a couple weeks before the due date, and then down to two names for a boy and a girl the night before the c-section.  Once we saw him, we just knew which name seemed to fit him best (although he had my mom going....told her it was Wilbur Orville because he was snorting and grunting like a little piggie).
